Protect yourself against fraud

Fraudsters often use the names of well-known businesses to gain the trust of their victims. This can make it hard to distinguish between an interaction that is real compared to one that’s fake. To help protect you and your hard-earned money, we’ve listed a few things that you should look out for when dealing with anyone claiming to represent Prudential:

  • You cannot invest in any of the Prudential funds without completing a Prudential application form and providing us with the relevant supporting documents.
  • Once we have received your application form and everything is in order, we will send you a confirmation email from operationsretail@prudential.co.za informing you of the bank account in which to make your deposit (note: we only bank with Standard Bank).  
  • Prudential can and will never guarantee any returns.
  • We will never suggest that you can earn returns within 24 hours.
